Chakra Closing Meditations
Chakra Closing Meditations
This practice is important and very useful in blocking out unwanted stimuli. When you close your chakras, you will feel calm and inner peace. This practice can help you quiet your mind before empty meditation, as it blocks out a lot of mental noise.
1. At the end of your meditations, sit comfortably or stand up and start with the root chakra.
2. See your root chakra as a red vortex of energy pointing upwards. Visualize doors closing on your chakra, blocking out all light. You can visualize this in front of the chakra, as if you were looking through a window at the chakra.
3. Do this with each chakra, all the way to your crown.
You should feel a peaceful, quiet feeling when you have closed each of your chakras. You can do this exercise several times a day if you want to block out unwanted external stimuli.
This is especially effective for natural mediums and empaths who absorb energies easily, as well as those whose attention wanders easily.
This is also a practice that must be mastered, as it will be needed in one of the advanced steps of the Magnum Opus.
After a while, your chakras will open on their own. If you feel like you need to open them right away, reverse the above exercise: open the doors and spin the chakras several times.
