1. Sit in an easy chair. Left hand on heart center (fingers pointing right), right hand starts behind ear, palm facing area behind ear. Eyes closed. Meditate on tip of nose, through closed eyes. Deep inhale, exhale 3 times. Right hand comes forcefully towards face, as if to slap yourself, and just as it reaches face, changes direction, just missing face and lands palm first. 6 minutes.

2. Focus your eyes on your nose. Bring your hands to your chest, forming a bowl with them, as if you were holding water in them. Bring your hands to the level of your throat and extend your arms forward, as if you were pouring water out at your fingertips. 15 minutes Pour all your anger, attachment and hurt into your hands, your trash, anything that is unpleasant to you, pour it into them and then let it go. Pull out all the pain of your subconscious, pour it into your hands and offer it to the infinite. From the first day of your birth to the age of 11, all the pain of your childhood, day by day, month by month, year by year, bring it up and give it to the universe.

3. Bring your hands in front of your face and look at the lines on your palms. Study your hands. 5 minutes.

4. Cover your face and eyes with your palms. Look into infinity through your closed eyelids. 15 minutes.

5. Place your hands over the heart center, right over left. Breathe in deeply and hold. Exhale. Repeat 2 more times. Chant: HAR HARE HARI WAHE GURU. Chant in a systematic voice, separating each word of the mantra. Chant in one voice without music. Address the elements and the aura.

5 minutes. Then with a strong whisper for 30 seconds.

6. Bend forward and place your hands on the ground. If you prefer, come into baby pose. Listen to Ardas Bhaee. (Yogi Bhajan played the gong softly during Nirinjan Kaur's recording) 11 minutes. Stretch your hands forward as far as you can, sit up with your eyes closed.

7. Extend your arms above your head, hands in prayer mudra. The perfect prayer. Recreate yourself in prayer. State your intention of who you want to be. Create a profile. Not a prayer. A profile in prayer. This is who you want to be. 3 minutes.

8. Shake your arms vigorously. Shake your whole body. 30 sec. – 1 min. Sit and rest.

9. Move your hand in front of your face for a few seconds to clear your vision.

10. Closing: Close your eyes and inhale deeply. Bring the prana into every part of your body. Let the breath of life flow. Exhale. Deep inhale, hold it tightly. Circulate it throughout your being. Exhale. Deep inhale, hold it. Feel the prana energy from the ends of your hair to the tips of your toes. Exhale and relax.

Comment:

This is a deeply meditative kriya. It helps us let go of old hurts, childhood pain, and look to the future with all our hearts. It helps us create a self-image that may be new to us, one that takes us to higher horizons, one that gives us momentum on our journey. It helps us shed the limitations of our ego so that we dare to dream big. (Take vitamin C in preparation for the kriya)
